My Story

The way I see it, each of our lives is a story.  When you read a well written story you see someone’s life unfold, from little details to major life altering events.  When reading a story you often have the immediate benefit of seeing how each piece fits into the big picture.  For better or worse when a life ends you have the complete “big picture” and you can see how every little event built on each other to form the final masterpiece.

Although I don’t consider myself a “writer” I thought it would be nice to put down part of my story.  My life is full of events that are building into an exciting big picture.  Some events are just little memories that are simple anecdotes and others are more memorable and noteworthy.

The most intriguing thought to me is to consider the events through this point in my life and see if I can start to see the “big picture” before it’s finished.  Yes, it might be fuzzy now, but each additional stroke that God puts in place brings it one step closer.  There are plenty of things in my past, that if I had a choice, I would have avoided or would erase from memory, but without them the final picture would not be complete.

I’m so glad that God knows everything there is to know, and that he can be fully trusted to complete a masterpiece that I can’t even now comprehend.

Each of these events are as I remember them.  There may be details that are not precise, but based on my memory and a little creative writing; I think the main points are accurate.  Some are funny, some are sad, some are serious, some are lighthearted, but ALL are a piece of the picture God is creating.
